CheringMoments.com showcases the collection of Calgary photographer Cheryl Moffatt. Cheryl studied photography at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and was awarded a certificate of achievement in 2009, and since then Cheryl has gained a broad range of experience with various types of photography including maternity, family and children, corporate and event, studio and outdoor portrait, and weddings. Cheryl’s professionalism and attention to detail has her clients returning to book a second, and third time to keep the family album stocked. As well as working with the latest digital photography technology, Cheryl also has experience with film processing for those clients who are feeling nostalgic.Our equipment inventory includes professional studio lighting with a choice of white or black backdrop, a two camera setup for backup purposes, and a wide selection of lenses. Our backdrop and lighting is mobile, and can be setup in any home or venue, provided that there is adequate space. We are always adding to our gear, and if we can’t purchase what we need, we will rent it from a local supplier for your photo shoot!

For as long as I can remember I always loved photography and didn’t realize that I could make my dream a reality! So here I am making a go at it. I am very personable and passionate for what I do. My specialty is able to capture the “candid” moments without making it look like a posed shot. You will always have fun while I photograph you, and have hundreds of pictures on your disk for you to choose what you would like to print. My prices are very reasonable and I do my best to meet your budget. Here are a few words from some of my clients…..

 

“Cheryl took our family pictures for us and we were extremely pleased with the results.  We figured as long as we got 1 or 2 good ones to frame and share with family we would be happy.  Well the photos she took were so amazing that we are printing off about 65 pictures and it is all but impossible to choose only one picture to frame & share with family!   Cheryl was able to work with us to find a day and time that best suited our baby’s schedule and is something we really appreciated.  We loved that she came to our home and was able to capture our everyday, treasured family moments on film as this truly made the pictures so incredibly special to us.  Not only are there an excellent variety of pictures, both in color and black & white on the  disk, but we get to keep that disk with all of our pictures on it and do with what we please which you don’t often get to do.   We loved our first family photoshoot experience, we would totally recommend Cheryl for being your go-to-photo-girl. “

“Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures!  You did an awesome job!  I appreciate all the time you put into making our pictures come out great.  You definitely went above and beyond what you said you were going to accomplish.  I like that you let the kids just play and tried not to pose them.  You were a joy to work with and the kids got along very well with you which made it that much easier to get a good picture.  Every picture made me smile. Thanks for including some of the goofy pictures.  Personally, I think you should charge more, especially considering the time you spent putting extra touches on the photos you gave to us.  I was just expecting plain color and black and whites but I absolutely love what you did with some of the pictures.  It’s nice that you’re very affordable.
